Bouldering is rock climbing stripped back to its essentials: no ropes, no harnesses, just you, the wall, and a thick mat below. You’ll climb routes (called “problems”) that are short and interesting— testing problem-solving, balance, technique, and strength. It’s like solving a puzzle with your whole body.

Whether you’re an absolute beginner or already strong and just looking for a new challenge, bouldering is a fun, social, and full-body workout that anyone can try.

You don’t need to be strong, flexible, or experienced to start climbing. At Resistance, we welcome beginners of all backgrounds and abilities.

When you arrive, our friendly staff will walk you through a short safety induction and help you get started. We have climbs of all difficulties, rental gear available, and a community that’s supportive no matter your skill level.

If you’ve never climbed before, this is the perfect place to start.
